Safe Boating Courses
Boating at Lake Silkworth should be fun and safe. Any
person born after January 1st 1982 that operates a boat which has a 25 HP motor
or greater must have a Boat Operators License. Also, a person of any age
operating a Personnel Watercraft (PWC) must have a Boat Operators License.
In 2010 there are classes offered by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission
and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary near Lake Silkworth. Please visit the PA F&BC
